What it’s like to work for us

Our behaviours

We’re positive

It’s not a sin to be ambitious. We’re set on creating change through digital and 3.5 million people we’ve already helped is just the start.

We’re collaborative

Good partnerships are key to what we do. We love to share our knowledge and there’s nothing better than connecting with people who share our vision.

We’re curious

Finding things out is just one of the things we do well. We love to be informed and the only way to find things out is to always be asking the right questions.

We’re people-focused

No matter what we’re doing, people come first. Whether investing in our staff or designing a community learning programme, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate fully.

We’re creative

There’s always more than one way of doing something. We might not always take the obvious route but we make new discoveries along the way to getting it done.

"Good Things Foundation is an incredibly purposeful organisation, determined to ensure everyone is able to realise the benefits of being society powered by digital.

As a staff owned mutual, it’s also quite a unique operating environment, powered by people to whom this agenda really matters.

If you are looking to bring your skills to make a real difference to people up and down the UK, we’d love to hear from you."

Equality and diversity

Equity, diversity and inclusion is at the heart of Good Things Foundation’s vision for a world where everyone benefits from digital. We believe that digital technology can support equality of opportunity, and ensure everyone can participate fully in today’s society. Working towards this vision is only possible if Good Things Foundation is an organisation that is diverse and inclusive of all people.

Our organisational values underpin our equity, diversity, and inclusion commitments. It is only through promoting inclusion that we can truly embody its values of being people-focused and collaborative. Being creative is a core value for Good Things Foundation and we understand that having a diverse workforce drives innovation and creativity.

As an organisation, we are committed to ensuring that individual contributions are encouraged and valued. We recognise the significant benefits that can be achieved from striving towards a workforce that represents our partners in thousands of communities across the UK and further afield.
