Good Things Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Vicki Sellick MBE as Chief Executive designate.

Vicki joins Good Things Foundation at a pivotal moment. In an era defined by technological transformation, the organisation’s mission to ensure no one is left behind in the digital age has never been more urgent.

Previously Vicki led the charity arm of St John Ambulance, working with hubs across England to tackle health inequalities in communities and pass on life saving skills. Prior to this, she was Chief Partnership Officer at innovation foundation Nesta, where she ran major programmes tackling inequalities and exclusion, supported the establishment of 'what works' research centres and built partnerships with national and devolved governments, to bring innovation to life. She was awarded an MBE in 2021 for services to social action.

Vicki will succeed founder Helen Milner OBE, who is retiring in March after 15 years of visionary leadership.

Liz Williams MBE, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Good Things Foundation, said:

“After an extensive and competitive search, we’re delighted to be welcoming Vicki Sellick MBE to Good Things Foundation. Vicki brings a powerful combination of skills, experience and energy for our mission. As we look toward our future goals, her expertise will be invaluable in delivering our strategy to ensure millions of people can participate in our digital society.”

Vicki Sellick MBE, Chief Executive Designate at Good Things Foundation, added:

"It is an honour to join Good Things Foundation, an organisation that has fundamentally changed the landscape of digital inclusion in the UK. The mission could not be more urgent - millions still live in data poverty, and whilst AI advances at pace there’s a risk the most excluded are only further left behind. Helen Milner has built an incredible legacy, and I am eager to work with our 8,000+ community partners and strategic partners to ensure that everyone has the skills, connectivity, and confidence to thrive in a digital society."

Under the leadership of outgoing CEO Helen Milner OBE, the charity reached their strategic goal of supporting over one million people, hitting this historic milestone eight months ahead of schedule.

Helen Milner OBE, Founder and CEO, added:

"With happiness and hope, I am delighted to pass the baton to Vicki. Her passion for digital inclusion is evident, and I am excited to see the success that she brings to this role. I have full confidence that under her leadership, Good Things Foundation will continue to be a powerful catalyst for change for the lives of millions of people across the UK."

Vicki Sellick MBE will formally take up the role of Chief Executive on 15 March 2026.
