About Get Online Week
Get Online Week is Good Things Foundation's annual digital inclusion campaign. It's been held every year since 2007 and is back for 2024 from October 14-20th!
In collaboration with our strategic partners, supporters, and the National Digital Inclusion Network, we aim to help tens of thousands of people get online in just one week. Whether people want to start managing their money online, learn about online safety or gain basic digital skills for employment, free community events are held across the UK for people to get connected.
Last year, over 865 events were held, supporting over 16,000 people to cross the digital divide in 7 days. Help us support even more people this Get Online Week!
Getting people connected through community events
Get Online Week is happening 14-20th October and will feature hundreds of events across the UK.
Hosted by local organisations and National Digital Inclusion Network members, these events cater to unique community needs and interests. From techy tea parties and online scavenger hunts to supportive learning sessions, each event aims to teach a new digital skill that will allow attendees to experience and understand the benefits of getting online. If you’re an organisation and support your local community, consider hosting an event!
We also work with our strategic partners and supporters to amplify our campaign message: that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to benefit from being online - and that free support is out there. Can you help us spread the word?
