Good Things Foundation joins the Connection Project to fuel UK’s growth and inclusivity
Good Things Foundation join national alliance working to ensure digital inclusion across the UK and unlock significant economic growth.
Good Things Foundation is proud to announce that we have joined The Connection Project, a new national alliance with a mission to ensure everyone in the UK can thrive in a digital society and unlock significant national growth.
Supporting the Connection Project is a strategic move to boost our existing efforts to help people get online across the country by working with diverse leaders from business and government. When people are left out of the digital world, it slows down the nation's growth and creates serious obstacles to providing modern, efficient public services. We want to help the Connection Project to develop a practical roadmap to make sure that the move to digital technology benefits every person and every part of society.
As the UK's leading digital inclusion charity, our expert knowledge, data, and insights are crucial for ensuring the Connection Project's roadmap is grounded in communities and lived experience. Over 1 million people have been supported by Good Things Foundation since 2022 through local partners in the National Digital Inclusion Network of over 8,000 community-based hubs, using Good Things resources like the National Databank, Device Bank, Learn My Way and AI Gateway - enabled by our strategic partners and supporters.
With an estimated economic benefit of £13.7 billion to the UK, joining the Connection Project is a timely, exciting opportunity to shape a roadmap for a digital society that is more connected, inclusive, and accelerates economic growth.
