How AI and inclusion will power Britain's economy
The Government’s ambition is clear: establish the UK as a global AI superpower. But to kickstart real, nationwide economic growth, we must confront a stark reality. If millions of people lack the basic digital and media literacy skills to use technology safely, we risk creating a new, deeply entrenched digital divide.

We'll also be at Labour Digital's panel from 2pm until 3pm, where Vicki Sellick will be speaking. The topic discussion is: Full Fibre Britain: How digital infrastructure competition is driving growth in every postcode.
At 5pm, Vicki Sellick will be speaking at the SME4Labour event at the SME4Labour Pod, ACC Liverpool. The discussion topic is: AI for Public Good: Harnessing Technology for Better Public Services.
From 5:30pm, you will find Dr Emma Stone speaking at Good Things, Virgin Money, and Fabian's panel discussion at Bluecoat, City Centre. The topic discussion topic is: Devolution and the digital revolution: Why local communities hold the key to economic growth.
Tuesday 30 September
We'll be attending a private roundtable from 11:30am to 12:45pm on: Everything Everywhere All at Once: How can we harness the digital platform economy to shape the future of UK politics, media and business?
