Advocate for digital inclusion in your community

Running from 19–25 October, Get Online Week shines a spotlight on the millions of people who can't get online, can't get by. Only 1 in 3 UK adults are comfortably online — and 72% of UK adults believe the Government should do more to change that. This year, we're asking you to spread the word about digital exclusion and rally for change.

If you’re a member of the National Digital Inclusion Network delivering digital inclusion support, you are the frontline champions. Through your vital work, thousands of individuals across the UK are able to benefit from digital.

Local support remains vital, and this campaign presents a powerful opportunity to use our collective voice to ensure digital inclusion is built into policy from the outset rather than bolted on as an afterthought.

As technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, Get Online Week offers the perfect moment to open your doors, advocate for change, and support more people in your community than ever before.

This year's campaign is slightly different. Get Online Week is taking place from 19 to 25 October 2026 and is all about raising awareness of the impact of digital exclusion.

We're asking you to get involved by advocating for digital inclusion with your local MP or councillor. If you still want to host events to support people in your community to get online, we have a whole host of resources that can help.
