Crossroads: Reducing Parental Conflict

Unemployment and other life stresses can put strain on families and lead to conflict in relationships between parents, whether together or separated. This can lead to a negative impact on children’s mental health and long-term life-chances.

Good Things Foundation are partnering with relationship experts OnePlusOne to produce digital content that will help parents recognise conflict in their lives and learn new ways of managing conflict to produce healthier and more positive outcomes for everyone in the family.

Throughout the project we’re working closely with parents to co-design and test interactive story-based digital content, to make sure that it’s useful and relevant to people’s lives.

The test-and-learn project will also look at ways of reaching parents online to provide digital support in the right place and at the right time for them. Working through Alpha and Beta test phases in 2019, we’ll be testing a wide range of content and engagement factors before a full live launch in early 2020.
