Learn My Way, the UK’s leading website for learning basic digital skills is available in Welsh for the first time.
Learn My Way has been developed by Good Things Foundation over the last 5 years and has helped more than 1 million people to improve their digital skills since 2013. It’s now available in Welsh thanks to investment from Welsh Government.
More than 20 courses cover the basics such as using a mouse and keyboard and getting started with email, to using the internet safely and online job hunting, and it will prove an invaluable resource for the 15% of adults in Wales who aren’t online.
Good Things Foundation Chief Executive Helen Milner says, “No matter where in the UK you live, or what language you speak, if you're not using the internet in 2019, you’re at a huge disadvantage. Technology continues to change how we live and work, and those excluded from the digital world are being left behind.
“That’s why I’m so pleased that Learn My Way is now available to Welsh-language speakers. The site has already helped more than a million people develop the skills they need to make more of the internet - whether for work, keeping in touch with loved ones or to better access essential services - and this launch means we can reach even more people with the same support.”
