Welcome to our new staff Board members

21 Jun 2017

There have been a lot of changes at Good Things Foundation over the last year - we rebranded and launched three new websites, we established three new directorates and new ways of working more efficiently and we became a charity (one of the UK’s first staff-led charities).

Throughout these changes, we’ve retained our mutual principles, something which is important to our ethos, and as such, we were delighted to welcome two new staff-elected trustees to our Board meeting, which took place yesterday.

Laurence Piercy is a member of our Research and Innovation team. Laurence has led the research element of some of our major projects, such as Reboot UK, meaning he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Board, communicating the real impact of the Good Things Foundation team and the Online Centres Network’s work.

Sam Taylor is a member of our Marketing and Communications team. As someone who leads on the research and creation of case studies, often talking to learners and centres within the network, Sam will bring knowledge of these valuable stories to the Board, ensuring that the Online Centres Network is at the heart of important discussions.

Since we established our Board in 2012, we’ve always had amazing and engaged staff elected trustees and we’re delighted that following all the exciting changes which have taken place over the last year, we’ve been able to continue this tradition.

Welcome to Laurence and Sam.
