It’s all about our Network

I have a great job, even if I do say so myself. Every day thousands of UK online centres help people to get online for the first time and as Head of Network at Good Things Foundation I get to see first hand the support that our network gives to people and the huge impact it has on their lives.
That’s why I’m thrilled this week that we’ve been able to publish our success at winning the BIS Future Digital Inclusion Fund. This programme will allow us to fund over 300 centres who have a proven track record and reach to engage people who are out of work or on a low income and disabled people. I’m really looking forward to seeing all their great work over the next few months and visiting as many centres as I can.
As part of the disability focus within BIS FDI fund I’ve been busy developing new partnerships with national organisations who bring expertise & new perspectives to supporting disabled people to improve their digital skills. I’m thrilled to announce that we’re now working with the following partners:- Abilitynet, Leonard Cheshire, Mind, Scope & Silver Training and even more partnerships like these are still in the pipeline. If I haven’t got in touch yet and you’d like to get involved please drop me a line, I’d love to hear from you.
So now Autumn is upon us and the hard work continues, but like I said before, I love my job so bring it on!
