Michael Skeldon

Learning Designer

Michael supports the Online Centres Network to develop the skills it needs to deliver the wide range of training available to its learners. He’s worked as a tutor so knows some of the challenges they face, and hopes he can use this experience to support this role. Michael says that the best thing about his job is playing a part in improving the lives of so many people across the country.

When not training the UK online centres network, Michael plays a lot of tabletop roleplaying board and card games, and for the last twenty-odd years he’s been running a community games group in Chesterfield. He’s seen it become a great way for people to develop social skills and make new friends.

Michael says...
"Despite all the wonderful big things technology has given us, it's often the little things that make the biggest impact on people. Helping a retired friend get online and seeing the expression on their face as they started to grasp the scope of the information available on the internet was a rare and wonderful moment."

Nicola’s responsible for delivering projects to support Good Things Foundation's strategy and business plan.
