As a key member of the Data Insights Team, Lauren analyses internal and external datasets to provide insights to the organisation at a national or local level. This requires visualising data in a variety of formats and creating data models that help us to deliver our strategy. Part of her role also entails quantitative research such as reviewing our data collection methods for capturing the impact of Good Things Foundation's projects on the lives of socially excluded people. Outside of Good Things Foundation, Lauren co-leads Sheffield Data for Good which brings together the data and social expertise in Sheffield to help solve the city’s social problems.

Lauren says...
"The work Good Things does is important as it addresses social challenges by providing individuals with the opportunity to learn new skills.

"Working closely with the network, Good Things have been able to truly understand what support is needed for these individuals in order to expand their capabilities and have been able to create a broad range of programmes suited to different learners. I think it is the breadth of the programmes which make Good Things unique as they are able to engage a varied audience meaning there is something for everyone."
