Harriet’s role is to develop learning content for Learn My Way and other Good Things Foundation projects. She really enjoys delivering webinars and workshops, and finding out more about the needs of staff and learners in Online Centres. The best part of her job is seeing the impact that the work Good Things Foundation and the staff at Online Centres have in improving people’s lives, and the further impact this can have for their families and communities.
Harriet loves running and walking in the Peak District with her golden retriever Ruby and singing at open-mic nights with her family band. Otherwise she can be found planning exciting trips that her other-half will never agree to (although she did get to New Zealand!) and making the most out of her Netflix subscription!
Many of us take for granted all the benefits that come from being digitally connected. But not having the skills or access to technology and the internet can be incredibly socially isolating for people. Good Things Foundation supports people to gain the skills and the confidence they need to benefit from digital, which in turn can improve other aspects of their lives!
